About me
I was born and raised on Vancouver Island, Canada, in a small town in the Comox Valley. I moved to Vancouver to attend Simon Fraser University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Contemporary Dance. I have been dancing since the age of 5 and being able to pursue my passion while earning a university degree was a win-win.
I met my husband Daniel while he was in Vancouver on location for work (he is a stuntman). We met at a bar, which may sound typical I know, but not in this case. We locked eyes, and after several minutes of looking at each other from across the bar I realized I had to be the one to initiate a conversation. I walked over and introduced myself and gave him my number. He hardly said one word to me. And if you know him, it makes sense. He hardly talks unless you really get to know him. He’s a man of few words. I guess my ballsy move worked and he called me the next day. It was a short lived but amazing whirlwind romance. Then we parted ways.
I graduated from University in 2013, we rekindled our relationship (in Vegas of all places) and I booked a one way ticket to LA to follow my heart. Fast forward a few years later, we now have two kids, two pit bulls, and a house in the suburbs. Zola is 4, and Kingston is 1.
I’d say we live a pretty unconventional lifestyle. As a stuntman’s wife we have to live according to my husband’s crazy and unpredictable schedule. Without a normal 9-5, his job has taken us to many different places. We have experienced moving and living in different states for long periods of time as well as spent some time aboard. We call California our home, but wherever we are all together is HOME to us.
